Retreat Centers in Northwest US for Leadership Retreat?!

Hey FSLN!
Annalina here from the Wallace Center. We’re beginning to plan for our fifth (wow!) Food Systems Leadership Retreat that will happen in late April 2020 (more details coming in January). So far, we’ve convened systems leaders in Detroit, MI, New Orleans, LA, Kansas City, MO, and Durham, NH.
For this next round, the Leadership Retreat will take place in the Northwest part of the US and I was wondering if any FLSN members might know of a great residential retreat center that might work for our group?
A few details:

  • A residential retreat center in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, or Montana
  • Able to accommodate 25-30 people
  • Is within reach of a major airport hub for folks flying in
We’re especially interested in those retreat centers that are owned and operated by people of color, are environmentally conscious, and offer a place for reflection, learning, and connection.
Whether you’ve stayed at one previously, or have heard about one from others, any suggestions of retreat centers would be most appreciated.
Reach out if you have any recommendations you'd be willing to share: Annalina.kazickas@winrock.org
Thanks so much!!
PS. Attached are some photos from our past retreats 😊 We’re into spaces that are residential in style, offer outdoor space, and provide a community feel.
