About Anupama:

Anupama is an accomplished leader in the non-profit and social sector in the United States and abroad. Anupama's career at the nexus of food systems, health, education, environment and community development has included experiences in policy development, program design and strategy, fundraising, evaluation and managing organizations through phases of growth and change. She is a firm believer in the power of networks and collaboration to enable lasting change. In her current role with the Blue Sky Funders Forum she has led the organization's first collective action through Rethink Outside- a campaign to activate a shared narrative to increase equitable access to the benefits of time spent in nature. Previously, Anupama co-founded and led the National Farm to School Network for more than a decade, shaping the growing movement to incorporate local procurement, gardens and food and farm education in schools and early care sites across the United States. Anupama is co-author of Food Justice (MIT Press, 2010), a reviewer with the Journal of Food Systems, Agriculture and Community Development and speaks at national and international events regularly. She has served as a mentor for the last three rounds of the program. She is a mom, loves to cook and travel.
